A taster of what will be in the collective exhibition at Holy Cross, Shipton on Cherwell, will be in the foyer of Exeter Hall in Kidlington during April.
I love working with waste product, be it metal, wood or stone for bases of my pieces.
I have historically made walking people and animals from old copper pipes soldered together. I then moved on to working in copper, brass and aluminium, adding waste metal, screws or anything with an interesting shape as eyes or decoration. More recently I have also started making pieces from driftwood or foraged wood waste. In all my pieces I like to get personality, movement, fun and colour. I make a range of items for the garden including plant stakes made of copper verdigris (joyful dancers) and aluminium (hares/fish/dancers) which look great nestled in grasses and plants plus flying birds (blackbirds/swallows etc) that hang in trees.
I welcome commissions.
